Women and Girls in STEM. There should not be any question that they are entitled to and capable of being involved in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. As our dear little friend Owen, from Fish Creek Primary School says: β€œGenders can do anything!” #RespectEqualityGippsland Beautiful illustration by @rachelblairink .πŸ§‘πŸ¦‰πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸŽ“πŸ‘©πŸ½β€πŸ« . 12 Feb Was is the international day of women and girls in science as adopted by the United Nations General Assembly. According to @unesco, only around 30% of all female students select STEM-related fields in higher education. Long standing biases do still steer girls away from science related fields according to @unitednations and @unwomen. . Who are some young scientists in your community who you could use your support? . . . #internationalwomenscienceday #internationaldayofwomenandgirlsinscience #internationaldayofwomeninscience #stem #steminist #womeninscience #sciencegirl #femmesofstem #sciencerules #unwomen #unesco #genderequality #sciart #sciencegirl #scienceillustration #scicomm #scienceoutreach #womenofillustration
